Tiger Woods is ready for an extreme image makeover.
One year after news began to leak that Woods was having several affairs, he's doing interviews, writing an article for Newsweek and joining Twitter.
Woods said that it's finally time for him to explain his actions.
"But this much is obvious now: my life was out of balance, and my priorities were out of order," Woods wrote in Newsweek. "I made terrible choices and repeated mistakes. I hurt the people whom I loved the most. And even beyond accepting the consequences and responsibility, there is the ongoing struggle to learn from my failings.
"Some nights now, it's just me and the kids, an experience that's both trying and rewarding," Woods continued. "Probably like the experience a lot of families have every evening around the world."
Yes, minus the new $50-million dollar house and it’s just like the experiences families across the world face.
Woods is also out to prove to fans that all of his struggles off the course have helped him become a better person and a better golfer.
"I'm so much better now because of this past year," Woods said on the Mike and Mike ESPN radio show. "Obviously, it was very difficult on a lot of people, especially those closest to me. But it's been the best thing for me."
Based on how he's played since last November, it may be hard for some fans to agree.
