FOXBORO, Mass. — Quarterback Tom Brady missed the Patriots’ only practice of the week to rest his right foot.

Brady has missed one practice during each of the last three weeks, including Tuesday’s session in the Dana-Farber Field House, but the latest absence might be the most surprising, considering there’s only one practice to prepare for Thursday’s game in Detroit. The Patriots held a walkthrough Monday and will have another one Wednesday.

Right guard Stephen Neal (shoulder), defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion/neck) and cornerback Jonathan Wilhite (hip) were the other players missing from practice.

Defensive lineman Myron Pryor returned to the field after missing two weeks with a back injury, and safety Jarrad Page attended his second consecutive practice after missing five weeks with a left calf injury.

Tuesday’s practice was held in sweats and shells.
