On Wednesday in New York, Tyler Seguin lit the lamp with some pizazz in his first taste of Madison Square Garden. The rookie stole the puck in his own zone, kicked it into high gear and took it down the right wing before beating Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist with a top-shelf snipe over the All-Star’s near shoulder.
It was a sight to see — completely worthy of Goal of the Week honors. With the award, Seguin ended Brad Marchand‘s two-week run of taking home the honor.
