Bruins Begin Five-Game Trip on Right Foot, ‘Find a Way to Win’ With Shootout Victory Over Panthers

Not every win is going to be as dominant, dramatic or inspiring as the Bruins' 4-1 win over the Thrashers on Thursday night. That's why, when it was all said and done, B's coach Claude Julien was willing to take what he got when his team outlasted the Florida Panthers for a 3-2 shootout win in Florida on Monday.

"Somehow we had to get more pucks at the net, and it was nice to see us battle and battle hard to get a win," Julien told Naoko Funayama after the game. "At the end of the night, you gotta find a way to win, and we did that."

Of course, it wasn't just getting pucks to the net, as Julien said. The B's had to keep the pucks out of their net, something goalie Tim Thomas continued to do unbelievably well, picking up yet another win for the B's.

To hear what he had to say, as well as see the highlights and get reaction from Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley, check out the video above from NESN Daily.
