Start counting down the minutes, Red Sox fans. Carl Crawford's unveiling is on the calendar.

The Red Sox announced on Friday that the team will hold a news conference on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. to officially declare Crawford's signing.

The news conference culminates one exciting week in Red Sox Nation. On Monday, general manager Theo Epstein and owner John Henry officially welcomed first baseman Adrian Gonzalez to Boston.

If you need any more reason to get excited about Crawford coming to Boston, here are ten.

Red Sox fans aren't the only ones excited about his arrival. By the looks of Crawford's Facebook and Twitter page, he's pretty psyched himself. And after a few more weeks of his offseason workouts, Crawford should be ready to tear it up in left field, and probably leave a few dents in the Green Monster as well.

Be sure to tune into NESN on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. to catch all the excitement as Crawford is officially introduced as a member of the Boston Red Sox.
