Daniel Paille Pulls Smart Move Standing Up to, Scrapping With Atlanta’s Top Defenseman Dustin Byfuglien

It takes a lot of guts to stand up to the 6-foot-4, 250-pound Dustin Byfuglien, but Daniel Paille (who doesn’t even break the 200-pound mark) didn’t hesitate when Byfuglien gave him a little extra shoulder in front of the net on Thursday.

Paille and Byfuglien’s shoving match started late in the second period, and even though the Thrasher’s tough guy got Paille down first, the Bruins’ stand-in held his own during the brief bout.

The game wasn’t as physical as last week’s matchup in Boston, but there was no shortage in hits throughout the game. Check out all the Bruins Big Hits in the video above.
