Fan Forum: How Many Fights Will There Be in Bruins-Flyers Game at TD Garden? The Bruins and Flyers have had quite a bit of history in the last year or so.

They, of course, took to the ice for the 2010 Winter Classic at Fenway Park last season on New Year's Day. Then, the two squads battled in the playoffs in a memorable seven-game series that saw the Flyers become only the third team in NHL history to come back from an 0-3 deficit in a best-of-seven series.

When the Bruins and Flyers get together, you're probably going to get a memorable affair — and you're probably going to have a few fights.

The two teams have proven over the last couple of years that there is no love lost between the two sides. Their first meeting of the season saw Shawn Thornton drop the gloves with Jody Shelley. It was also Thornton who went toe-to-toe with Daniel Carcillo at the Winter Classic last season.
