Jenn Sterger Fails to File Brett Favre Sexual Harassment Suit by Tuesday's Deadline Vikings quarterback Brett Favre is off the hook for his 2008 text message shenanigans.

Yeah, right.

The deadline for former Jets employee Jenn Sterger and her lawyer, Joseph Conway, to file a sexual harassment lawsuit was on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, reports Pro Football Talk. It was two years ago on Tuesday that Favre allegedly sent his last text message to Sterger.

The statute of limitations for workplace sexual harassment claims is two years, according to New Jersey law. Conway believes the two-year period to file the claim is in June of 2011, two years from the last time Favre called Sterger.

Quote of the day

“The situation around me is very stable. The athletic director was a kid that I recruited as a walk-on, the coaches have been with me … the [school] president has been with us now maybe 14, 15 years. We have a lot of fun together. I don’t see any reason to get out. … I feel great.”
