It’s not very often that the law comes down on the side of John Daly, but somehow, that has actually proven to be the case — as far as the custody of his son, Little John is concerned.
Daly’s fourth ex-wife, Sherrie, had been awarded custody of the seven-year-old this past February when the couple split up, but due to contempt of court, interfering with her ex-husband’s visitation privileges, repeated school absences by Little John and failures to provide the child with proper speech therapy, judge Donna Fields has now put Daly in charge of the boy.
As the primary caregiver, Daly plans to take his son on your and get him a tutor and online schooling. He’ll probably show up on Being John Daly on the Golf Channel as well.
Fields even sentenced Sherrie to three days in prison, saying “Ms. Daly needs to understand what the inside of a jail looks like.”
