The Hail Mary is one of the most exciting plays in football, but to Kingsburg High School in California, it seems to be the norm.

In a Division III, Central Section state title match in the Golden State, quarterback Garrett Steele‘s Vikings were down 21-20 with two minutes left. Facing a 4th-and-10 from their own 19, Steele scrambled back into his endzone before unleashing a bomb to Tyler Abernathy for an 80-yard touchdown. Fans watching this one were feeling a sense of deja vu as the Vikings won their season-opening match against San Luis Obispo on a similar Hail Mary play.
