For the second consecutive week, Liverpool's match has been postponed due to winter conditions.

Liverpool were scheduled for a 10 a.m. ET kickoff at Bloomfield Road against Blackpool, but the pitch was deemed unplayable on Sunday due to freezing, as the facility does not have undersoil heating.

The match has already been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 3 p.m. ET. Last week, Liverpool's match with Fulham was postponed due to inclement weather.

The Everton-Birmingham City match was also called off Sunday in what has been a record stretch of cold weather as of late throughout England.

Captain Steven Gerrard was set to make his return for Liverpool after over a month's absence with injury.
