Orioles designated hitter Luke Scott is proud to be an American, but not under the leadership of Barack Obama.

Scott visited the winter meetings in Florida on Tuesday, but not for any reason in particular other than showing off his hunting prowess. Yahoo!'s Dave Brown met with the designated hitter to discuss the Orioles' offseason dealings. What Brown didn't expect was a full-on attack from Scott on President Obama.

After chatting about the Orioles, hunting, firearms and personal responsibility, Scott started bashing Obama by denying that he was born in America.

"Obama … hmm … Obama does not represent America. Nor does he represent anything what our forefathers stood for … He was not born here. That's my belief," Scott told Brown. "I was born here. If someone accuses me of not being born here, I can go – within 10 minutes — to my filing cabinet and I can pick up my real birth certificate and I can go, 'See? Look! Here it is.'"

According to Scott, Obama represents, "Hey, everyone. Give me votes and I'll give you free stuff." Scott believes that this is why America has been getting torn apart.
