Oney Guillen's Twitter Rant About Bobby Jenks Upsets White Sox General Manager Ken Williams The rift between manager and general manager in the Chicago White Sox’ organization is picking up steam yet again.

According to ESPN.com, White Sox general manager Ken Williams is not happy about Oney Guillen‘s recent twitter rant calling out Red Sox reliever Bobby Jenks. Oney is the son of White Sox manager, Ozzie Guillen.

Williams wrote a concerned e-mail to the Chicago Tribune, saying that Oney’s tweets may have compromised the integrity of the White Sox’ clubhouse. Williams is upset because the tweets publicized private conversations between Jenks and Ozzie.

“It is an issue I trust Ozzie to manage as there are obvious peripheral issues that are in direct conflict to what we believe and could directly compromise the integrity of clubhouse privacy, privacy that is vital to a team’s unity and success,” Williams’ e-mail read.

On the other side of the controversy, Williams is also asking Jenks to apologize to the White Sox’ organization. Oney’s Twitter rant was sparked when Jenks said he was looking forward to playing “for a manager who knows how to run a bullpen,” in Boston.

Williams went on to say that Chicago was nothing but supportive of Jenks throughout his six-year stint with the White Sox.

On Thursday, Oney told ESPN’s “Waddle and Silvy Show” that his tweets, which exposed Jenks’ alleged drinking and marital problems, will not affect the White Sox in 2011.
