Report: Derek Jeter, Yankees Agree on Three-Year Contract, Deal Said to Be ‘Done’

Finally, the Derek Jeter saga has come to an end.

According to YES Network's Jack Curry, the veteran shortstop and the Yankees have agreed to terms on a new three-year contract and that the deal is "done." According to Curry, Jeter will make in the neighborhood of $15-17 million per season. Curry also notes via Twitter that an option for a fourth year is not guaranteed.
