Manny Pacquaio will be back in action at the MGM Grand on April 16 — though who will be in the other corner of the ring remains up in the air.

According to Sky Sports, however, the world’s best boxer has narrowed his short list to three possible opponents — Shane Mosley, Andre Berto and Juan Manuel Marquez.

We’ll present Manny with the information and, ultimately, it’s Manny’s decision who he fights,” promoter Bob Arum told the site. “We’ve talked to the other fighters and their promoters, so we know exactly where we stand.”

Mosley is considered to be the favorite to join Pacquiao in the bout, and has even asserted that he has already been given the fight, according to FanHouse.

“Well, the last time that I talked to Bob Arum was maybe a couple of weeks ago,” Mosley explained to FanHouse. “You know, he kind of told me that if it wasn’t going to be Floyd Mayweather, and that if Mayweather didn’t come to the table, then, ‘It’s going to be you.'”

“I’m looking forward to the challenge. I’m happy,” he added.

Pacquiao’s last fight resulted in opponent Antonio Margarito needing surgery to repair his eye socket.
