The list of attacking players mentioned as potential transfer targets for Roy Hodgson is so long that it would probably be a bigger surprise if a player weren't included, but the rumors do still have meaning — when they come from the player himself.

Partizan Belgrade star Cleo has been linked with a move to Anfield for quite some time, and the Brazilian-born Serbian striker is clearly keen on the possibility. He spoke out about possible transfers on Tuesday.

"I will only leave Belgrade if I get an offer which I couldn't say no to," he told Serbian reporters, according to Sky Sports.

"Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and who wouldn't like to play football at Anfield?

"My club will have the last answer. They will do what will be best for them. I would like to play in a country which would be best for my family, but I don't know if that would be England, although I've heard a lot of good things about the UK."

The 25-year-old really couldn't be any clearer about his desire for a move, but he will likely cost upwards of $20 million (12 million pounds).

Still, his nose for goal may make such a price reasonable. He has scored 15 times in 20 appearances in Europe for Partizan, and has scored in more than half of his appearances overall. At 6-foot-1, he's got good size, and he possesses pace and classy technique.
