Tim Tebow is about to get his chance.
ESPN.com reports that Denvers rookie quarterback is going to get his first NFL start on Sunday when the Broncos head to Oakland to take on the Raiders in an AFC West showdown.
The first-round pick, who has thrown one pass all season, took the majority of snaps this week, and is likely to get the starting nod over Kyle Orton who is suffering from bruised ribs.
Tebow's first start comes as the Broncos are in a bit of disarray with a 3-10 record. They fired head coach Josh McDaniels on Dec. 3.
