FOXBORO, Mass. — Quarterback Tom Brady headlined a list of eight Patriots who missed Wednesday's practice, which was held outside amid snow flurries.

Right guard Dan Connolly (concussion), wide receiver Deion Branch (knee), tight end Aaron Hernandez (missed last Friday with the flu), linebacker Tully Banta-Cain and defensive linemen Myron Pryor (back), Mike Wright (concussion) and Brandon Deaderick (shoulder) were also missing from Wednesday's session, which was conducted in sweats and shells.

Brady has missed two consecutive Wednesdays due to a right foot injury after he broke from his routine in his preparation for the Patriots' Week 14 matchup with the Bears.

Defensive lineman Ron Brace returned to practice after missing all of last week and Sunday's game against the Packers with a concussion.

Cornerback Devin McCourty, who missed last Wednesday's session and was limited Thursday and Friday with a rib injury, was also present Wednesday.
