Tom Brady Not Letting Little Bout With Flu Affect Preparation for Bills

FOXBORO, Mass. — Ever wonder what Tom Brady is up to when he's not at practice? Well, the Patriots quarterback broke it down Friday morning.

"Treatment, film, still getting prepared, finding different things to do other than run around," Brady said Friday morning. "I think you still use the time to prepare certainly, get caught up on some other things that maybe you don’t get a chance to do when you're out there practicing, maybe a little more rehab."

Brady has missed six practices this season, including Wednesday's session with the flu, and he's been dealing with a right foot injury that has bothered him since at least Week 10. When asked what type of effect this week's sickness had on his preparation for the Bills, Brady said, "None."

Brady left no doubt about his status for Sunday's game in Buffalo, where the Patriots could clinch the AFC East title and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

"I'm feeling good," Brady said, "good day of practice [Thursday] and got to go out and have a good day [Friday], get sharpened up and get ready to go play for a division title."
