FOXBORO, Mass. — As it turns out, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has more to worry about than his right foot injury. The Pro Bowl's leading vote getter missed Wednesday's practice because of the flu.

This also shed some light on why Brady's scheduled media availability was pushed back from Wednesday to Thursday.

Some other new injuries popped up on Wednesday's practice participation report. Linebacker Tully Banta-Cain missed practice with a groin injury, while tight end Aaron Hernandez was out with a concussion. Linebacker Jermaine Cunningham was limited due to a hip injury.

As for the previously disclosed injuries, wide receiver Deion Branch (knee), right guard Dan Connolly (concussion), defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick (shoulder), defensive lineman Myron Pryor (back) and defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion) also missed Wednesday's practice.

Defensive lineman Ron Brace (concussion) was limited, and cornerback Kyle Arrington (elbow) was a full participant.

Linebacker Gary Guyton, who couldn't finish Sunday's game due to an undisclosed injury, was not listed on Wednesday's participation report, which means he has overcome that ailment.
