Vote: What Has Been the Story of the Year in the NFL? Through 13-plus weeks, the 2010 NFL season has been a wild ride, full of impressive on-field performances and plenty of off-field drama, but what has been the story of the year thus far?

Michael Vick has proven to the football world that he is as dominant — if not more — than he was during his days blazing up the turf in Atlanta.

Brett Favre (allegedly) showed the world that even as a grandfather the ol’ gunslinger sure knows how to use a cell phone. But unfortunately for Viking fans, that wasn’t the worst of it as the Minnesota franchise was forced to fire head coach Brad Childress midseason after a slew of embarrassing defeats.

The league office has finally put its foot down regarding dangerous or “devastating” hits — especially to the head.

After a few years of near-perfect, drama-free behavior as a Patriot, future Hall of Famer Randy Moss turned into his former self and in doing so, led the football world on a roller coaster of mayhem and legendary quotes.

Speaking of the Pats, Bill Belichick‘s young squad has been battling with Rex Ryan‘s Jets for the top spot in the AFC, sparking even more life into the fiery rivalry.
