Earlier this month, Maple Leafs fans decided to show their frustration by throwing waffles onto the ice. On Monday night against the Thrashers — while the home team was down 5-1 with nine minutes to go in the third period — a fan tossed a stack of waffles onto the ice during play, delaying the contest.
