Antonio Cromartie Threatens to 'Smash' Matt Hasselbeck's Face After Quarterback Opens Twitter War With Cornerback Antonio Cromartie has had a lot to say lately.

First, he called Tom Brady a, well, a very bad word. Then, he called DeMaurice Smith, the president of the NFLPA, the same exact thing, adding that he doesn't "give a damn" if people got mad at him for his comments.

Well, on Thursday morning, Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck got mad at him, and Cromartie certainly gave a damn.

"Somebody ask Cromartie if he knows what CBA stands for," Hasselbeck tweeted before deleting the comment (nothing ever goes away on the Internet).

Cromartie took note and responded through the same medium.

"hey Matt if u have something to then say it be a man about it. Don't erase it. I will smash ur face in," Cromartie tweeted.

Hasselbeck later apologized.

"Sorry for the joke man," he wrote to Cromartie. "No hard feelings. DB's & QB's have a hard time getting along I guess sometimes. lol"

The mini-feud isn't really anything new for Cromartie. It takes about 10 seconds to find him going back-and-forth with random Twitter users such as Seth Winkleman, who said Cromartie had trouble remembering the names of his nine children.

"I remember ur momma," Cromartie responded.

Then there was James Walsh, a kid from Massachusetts who threw an insult in Cromartie's direction. Cromartie responded … by saying he doesn't respond.

"look lil dude u can talk me all u want u call me what u want but at the end of the day I don't answer to u," he wrote. "U have ur opinion of me. Who cares. Lol"

The moral of the story? Cromartie will engage in trash talk with you, whether you're an NFL quarterback or a kid from Massachusetts, but he'll only threaten to "smash your face in" if you're Matt Hasselbeck.
