Here's something you see every day: A soccer player flopping to the ground.

Here's something you don't see very day: That soccer player admitting he was diving.

That player would be Arsenal's Theo Walcott, who admitted to and apologized for diving to try to draw a penalty against Leeds on Saturday.

"I just want to apologize to the managers," Walcott said. "I'm not the sort of player to do it but I own up to that and I apologize for that. It's one of the things that I don't like to see in the game but I've heard some people say that if you feel the slightest bit of touch, you should go down. So it can work both ways."

Though his attempt was ultimately unsuccessful, Walcott felt compelled to come clean.

"I'm not happy with myself for doing that, but I'm happy that we got the draw in the end," he said.

Hear the admission straight from Walcott's mouth in the YouTube video below.
