Bruins fans probably had no problem coming up with one of the three players drafted first overall, but could you get all three?
Tuesday's The Four's Question of the Day asked which three players have been selected first overall by the Bruins since the inception of the NHL draft in 1963.
The most recent first overall draft pick for the B's is former captain Joe Thornton, who was drafted first overall in 1997. Jumbo Joe played seven seasons for the Bruins before he was traded to the San Jose Sharks in the 2005-06 season.
You may recognize the next first overall pick as well, as he serves as a Bruins analyst on NESN broadcasts. Gord Kluzak was the B's first overall draft pick in 1982. He played through nine seasons with the Bruins before retiring in 1990.
Defenseman Barry Gibbs was the first Bruin to be drafted first overall, as he was the first pick in 1966. Gibbs ended up playing less than two seasons with the Bruins, and played the majority of his career with the Minnesota North Stars and the Atlanta Flames.
