Brandon Meriweather, Darrelle Revis Talking ‘Good-Natured’ Trash at Pro Bowl Workouts The Patriots-Jets rivalry has carried over to The Aloha State.

A pair of AFC East rivals drew the attention of onlookers during Thurday's AFC Pro-Bowl workout, as Darrelle Revis of the Jets and Brandon Meriweather of the Pats spent the majority of the practice taking good-natured jabs at each other, reports Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald.

“[Revis is] ripping me because they won [the AFC divisional round game], but that’s the only bragging rights he has. We still beat him by 50 points,” said Meriweather when asked about the odd bond he seemed to be forming with the Jets cornerback.

The Patriots actually won the Week 13 game he was referring to by 42 points, but what's eight points between friends?

”I told him, they might as well have lost to us, if they were going to do that [not get to the Super Bowl],” said Meriweather, who explained that he and Revis are good friends off the field.
