Sun Life Financial is expanding it’s reach across New England as they announced a new multifaceted sponsorship agreement with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sun Life will be designated as an official team sponsor and will become the first-ever presenting sponsor of Celtics.com. Sun Life’s presence will be seen throughout TD Garden and will become affiliated with in-game promotions and features.
Sun Life also will have access to the Celtics’ team logos and marks for external and internal marketing and advertising campaigns.
Sun Life’s sponsorship will receive significant exposure on Celtics.com, with fixed header positions on all Celtics.com pages. Sun Life will bring several interactive features to the Celtics’ website as well, including daily videos and postgame breakdowns.
“Fans from all over the world stay connected with the team through Celtics.com,” Boston Celtics team president Rich Gotham said. “We are proud to partner with a prestigious international brand like Sun Life Financial to reach Celtics fans everywhere.”
To promote the new partnership, Sun Life will host two poster giveaways at upcoming Celtics games and will host three community rally events at Sun Life office locations this season.
