Claude Julien Hopes ‘Moderate’ Status of Marc Savard’s Fourth Career Concussion Leads to Quick Recovery

Once again, the mysterious and frustrating concussion has reappeared in Marc Savard's professional career.

The Bruins' center suffered the fourth concussion of his career on Saturday afternoon against the Avalanche, when a hit from former teammate Matt Hunwick drove his head into the boards. Savard flew back to Boston alone on Monday to have his injury evaluated, where he was diagnosed with a moderate concussion.

While the length of time associated with this type of injury is always unknown, Bruins head coach Claude Julien discussed the injury earlier on Monday, and said he hopes the center will be back in action soon.

Meanwhile, the B's are giving plenty of support to their teammate, also hoping for a speedy recovery.
