FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots wide receiver Deion Branch, who has been dealing with a knee injury since Week 15 and sat out the team’s regular-season finale, said all is good for his playoff availability.
“Oh, I’m good,” Branch said Wednesday. “Everybody is good. You don’t have a choice now. Everybody is going now, the whole room.”
Branch didn’t join the Patriots until their fifth game of the season, but he was still second on the team with 48 receptions and 706 yards, and he was fourth with five touchdown receptions. His addition to Tom Brady‘s receiving corps paid immediate dividends, despite the fact that he estimated it took two weeks to acclimate himself to his old offense.
That’s why the MVP of Super Bowl XXXIX promises to be a valuable member of this playoff run, so it’s good news that he insists he’ll be ready to go.
“I feel good,” Branch said. “I feel great.”
