Ashley Madison Super Bowl Ad Featuring Adult Film Star Savanna Samson Rejected by FOX (Video) Online adultery service Ashley Madison has again had an advertising spot intended to air during the Super Bowl rejected — this time with very little explanation.

FOX has barred the commercial from airing despite no mentioning of adult activities or even the use of the slogan “Life is short. Have an affair.”

Founder Noel Biderman believes that the move by the network is unfair, and motivated simply by legendary adult actress Savanna Samson‘s cameo in the spot.

“Now that so many adult film stars including Jenna Jameson and Sasha Grey have crossed over into the mainstream, it’s disappointing that the NFL continues to discriminate against them. I wonder if they’re planning on restricting Ben Roethlisberger from playing or Rex Ryan from coaching in the big game,” he said.

FOX’s only justification for such was “Standards & Practices has deemed the Ashley Madison spot is not acceptable to air on FOX.”

Madison was similarly rejected in 2009 by NBC, but was still able to purchase local NBC ads. They may pursue a similar avenue this time around.
