It's been a rough ride for left back Paul Konchesky.

Signed last summer from Fulham, the 29-year-old has struggled mightily with the Reds, so much so that during Wednesday's match against the Wolves, the Anfield faithful cheered that he was coming off the pitch, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Konchesky, who sat out Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Bolton, believes he can turn it around in 2011.

"The fans have not seen the best of me yet," he told the Echo. "Hopefully, I can kick on in the new year.

"Liverpool are a big club with a great history," he added. "We must try to get the club back to where it belongs."
