You don't have to wait until April to get your first glimpse of the 2011 Red Sox.

The team has announced that spring training tickets will go on sale on Saturday, Jan. 8, starting at 10 a.m. Fans can access tickets at the City of Palms Park box office in Fort Myers, Fla., on the Red Sox' website or by calling 888-REDSOX6.

If you're in the Fort Myers area this weekend, the visit to the City of Palms Park will be well worth it. In addition to the ticket sales, fans can enjoy the first annual Taste of the Ballpark, a free kid's clinic, and much more.

The Taste of the Ballpark will offer several ballpark favorites from local restaurants including The Prawnbroker, University Grill, The Morgan House and First Watch. The Kid's Clinic will kick off at 1 p.m. and will feature activities with Red Sox personnel, followed by a trip around the bases.

A raffle will go on throughout the day at City of Palms Park, giving fans the opportunity to win autographed items and gift certificates. Two lucky fans will win season tickets. Special Red Sox prize packs will also be given away to the fans with the most team spirit.
