Fernando Torres is reportedly looking toward the next move in his career, and it may not involve the Reds.
According to theguardian.co.uk, Torres has submitted a transfer request to the owners at Anfield. He has reportedly said that a move away from Anfield might be the best thing for his career.
Torres said he feels a deal can be reached that would benefit both his career as well as Liverpool. If he goes to Chelsea, Liverpool could make £20 million ($31.7 million) in profit (they signed him for £23 million [$36.5 million]).
When asked about a potential deal, Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti said, "I don't want to speak about this, you will have to ask the club. He is not my player and I have to have respect for Liverpool. I don't like to speak about this."
