Report: Kevin Garnett Unlikely to Be Suspended for Low Blow on Channing Frye

Kevin Garnett appeared to do something you should never to do another man on Sunday night in Phoenix. Apparently, though, it won’t cost the Celtics forward.

According to a tweet from Yahoo’s Marc Spears, the NBA will not suspend Garnett for what appeared to be a low blow to Channing Frye in Boston’s loss to the Suns on Friday night.

Whether it was intentional or not, Garnett appeared to hit Frye below the belt as Frye elevated for a three-pointer. Frye got up (incredibly quickly, all things considered) and went after Garnett. The two had to be separated. Garnett was whistled for a personal foul, as well as two technical fouls, resulting in an ejection.
