Bruins fans probably know Mike Komisarek best for being on the receiving end of blows from Milan Lucic during his days in Montreal.

Now, the Maple Leafs enforcer may have been on the giving end of some punches — with a woman as the recipient.

According to TheGlobeandMail.com, Komisarek has been named in a police report for allegedly punching a woman in the face at a Hollywood nightclub earlier this month when the Leafs were in Los Angeles to face the Kings.

Komisarek is said to have picked a woman up in the air, causing her to ask him to put her down. When he refused, she slapped him in the face, at which point he put her down and punched her in the face.

TMZ.com was the first to report the incident.

The Maple Leafs have had no comment about the alleged event.

“No, these are rumours and innuendos on a web site we don’t know anything about,” said coach Ron Wilson.

The Leafs are set to take on the Capitals on Saturday night.
