Robert Burton’s Letter to UConn Athletic Director Surfaces, States ‘We Want Our Money and Respect Back’

Robert Burton is not the biggest UConn Huskies football fan these days.

In fact, he probably hates everything about the program. Earlier this week, Burton demanded to have his $3 million donation returned and his name removed from the football complex.

On Tuesday, Deadspin posted what’s believed to be a copy of the letter he wrote to athletic director Jeff Hathaway, as seen below.
