Now it’s time for you to give us your take on your favorite team by submitting your own original video segment about the men’s or women’s team you follow. We want you to share your excitement and show your school spirit. Help us celebrate what is great about Hockey East and the team you support.
If you are a student, alum, media member that covers the team or even a player or coach, we want to see what you see. Have some fun and share your passion and knowledge about your team and Hockey East. The best videos will be posted on NESN.com and might even be featured during our Hockey East television coverage.
Each video should be two to four minutes in length. Here are a few ideas to get you started.
- Fan experience features (road trips, game night events, etc.)
- Inside access to the lives of student-athletes
- Weekly previews of weekend action (preferably games scheduled to be on NESN)
- Behind-the-scenes coverage of a Hockey East program
- Rivalries with other Hockey East schools
- Historical pieces
To submit a video, please follow these instructions.
1. Make sure you read and understand NESN’s Terms of Use policy.
2. Go to http://youtube.com and create an account if you do not already have one.
3. Select the upload button and follow the given steps.
4. After your video completes uploading, under “Sharing options,” there will be a field called “URL” with a URL that will look something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=123456789. Copy the URL that appears, and send it in an e-mail to videos@nesn.com. Include your name and school in the e-mail.
By submitting your video(s) to NESN, you agree to NESN’s Terms of Use. Any notes, messages, e-mails, billboard postings, ideas, suggestions, concepts or other material submitted will become the property of NESN and NESN shall be entitled to use the material for any type of use forever including in any media whether now known or hereafter devised. When you submit material to NESN’s web site, you agree that NESN has the right to publish the material for any type of use, including promotional and advertising purposes. NESN is not responsible for any material posted on our forums. NESN reserves the right to edit or delete material submitted to the forums, but does not assume any obligation to do so. You agree that you will not submit or otherwise publish through our forums any content which: (a) libels, defames, invades privacy, or is obscene, pornographic, abusive, or threatening; (b) infringes any intellectual property or other right of any entity or person, including, but not limited to, violating anyone’s copyrights or trademarks; (c) violates any law; (d) advocates illegal activity; or (e) advertises or otherwise solicits funds or is a solicitation for goods or services.
