The bright, cheery symbol across the home of the Miami Dolphins, Sun Life Stadium, has been spreading across New England for quite some time now.
The Boston Celtics and Sun Life Financial announced a sponsoring agreement that will make Sun Life the first-ever sponsor of Celtics.com. The company will also be involved in Celtics promotional events and will also have a marketing presence.
The company will be well seen throughout TD Garden on the Jumbotron sponsoring Celtics in-game video like the "KissCam." Plus, they will sponsor the honorary ball kid during the team?s home games.
Just this past fall, the financial company presented its partnership with NESN Daily, which premiered in August 2010. The whole 30-minute sports show featuring highlights, opinion and analysis is promoted and sponsored by the company.
Also, looking back to the 2010 Bridgestone Winter Classic at Fenway Park, fans may remember when free public skating tickets were handed out to Boston residents. Sun Life sponsored that event alongside the NHL and the city of Boston.
