Now, this is the New England way to cure the winter blues.

On Friday, all of the winners of the Opening Weekend Experience received their Red Sox Opening Day tickets, along with a personalized tour of Fenway and the Red Sox clubhouse. One set of tickets was awarded to a group of fans from each state in New England.

Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein and manager Terry Francona were on hand with team mascot, Wally, to give out the tickets to the lucky fans, and they also gave a little insight to the upcoming season.

"We feel good about some of the moves we made, but it all goes out the window as soon as you hear the first crack of the bat at spring training," Epstein said. "Then the real work starts."

"I'm glad people think we're going to be good, that means we've had a good offseason," Francona added. "Now, we need to have a good season."
