Over the past couple of years, the NHL has done everything it can to help promote the game through the All-Star showcase and one way it tries to do that is through a red carpet event on Saturday night.
The games best and brightest took to the red carpet prior to Saturday's SuperSkills competition to sign autographs for fans and to talk to the media.
The NHL version of the red carpet walk gave fans a chance to see a side of hockey players they don't usually get to see. NESN's Naoko Funayama was down in North Carolina to capture the action and was able to snap a few photographs.
