Tom Coughlin Invites Critics to Kiss His (Buttocks) If They're Not Impressed With Giants' 10-6 Season Tom Coughlin is the oldest coach in the NFL at 64, and he's as strict a disciplinarian as there is in the game, but don't let that make you think he's got no fire.

The Giants' head coach led his team to a 10-6 season, a disappointing effort for most folks in New York. Yet, a season that ends in double-digit victories isn't easy to get in the NFL, and Coughlin made clear to his players after a Week 17 win that he was proud of their accomplishments. His message aired on Showtime's Inside the NFL this week.

"Outstanding finish to the ballgame. We did our part, OK?" he said in the locker room after the Giants beat the Redskins. "That's all I can ask you to do.

"Hey, from the bottom of my heart and everybody's, we have a 10-6 season. A 10-win season in the NFL. OK? And they can kiss my ass. They can line up and kiss my ass. It's not an easy thing to do."
