Top 10 NHL All-Star Game Moments Feature Unforgettable Feats by Ray Bourque, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux After a one-year hiatus for the Olympics, the NHL All-Star Game returns this Sunday in Raleigh with the 58th edition of the midseason spectacle.

The previous 57, plus the three benefit games that predated the official games, have provided plenty of memorable moments as the almost annual gathering of the league’s top talent has grown into a full weekend’s worth of events.

This year a new format will be unveiled with the team captains picking sides in a live “fantasy draft” on Friday, followed by the skills competition on Saturday and the actual game on Sunday.

This year’s festivities could force a revision of this list in the future, but before we look ahead, let’s look back on the history of the event.
