As many people know in Boston, Tuukka Rask's record does not reflect the goaltender's performance in net this season.
Rask was the victim of another tough-luck loss on Thursday night, as two errors caught Rask off guard and resulted in a Minnesota victory at the Garden. When he was challenged, Rask rose to the occasion, making some unbelievable saves to keep the Bruins in the game.
Bruins analyst Andy Brickley gave his take on the Bruins' loss during Thursday's edition of NESN Daily, and in his mind, Rask gave the Bruins the tools to win the game.
"He gave them the opportunity to win the game, no doubt about it," Brickley told NESN's Jade McCarthy. "I was glad to see that Tuukka's now getting a chance to get some reps, some consecutive games, some appearances — building his confidence. They're going to need him from here on out. I thought he delivered a strong game."
