Vermont Catamount Evan Fjeld Bringing Adam Morrison Mustache Back to College Hoops

Who's the guy with the dirty Adam Morrison mustache?

That's Vermont Catamounts hoops star Evan Fjeld, the Morrison of the America East Conference.

The 6-foot-8 senior from Durham, N.C. is no joke. He's the team leader with 16.8 points per game, and contributes on the defensive end as well, with nearly 7 boards and 2 blocks per contest as well. He even threw down 26 points against Kemba Walker and UConn this season.

Fjeld may even be good enough to follow in Morrison's footsteps as a walking victory cigar in the NBA before taking his facial hair to Europe — where it will surely be a huge success. Even Larry Bird's 'stache, magestic as it was, can't compare.

Check out this interview with Fjeld below.

Is this 'stache dirtier than Adam Morrison's? Do you prefer to root for players with good 'staches? Leave your thoughts below.

Quote of the day

"I didn't have the ability to run back. … Conditions were colder, so the (backhand) slice wasn't really working. … I wasn't able to get the ball to jump much, so a lot of the shots he hit were in his pocket and I was having a hard time getting it out of that zone."
–Andy Roddick, on being eliminated from the Australian Open

Comment of the day

Steelers fans apparently don't like the Jets either.

"Tommorrow, the Yets will have to keep thier head on a shivel. They had to talk by the end of the week. Telling the Steelers to bring thier trophies and Heinz Ward is a dirty player. Tommorrow they will see how dirty he is. The defensive backs of the Yets better keep thier head on a shivel, because Heinz is going to blast you!!! That is how the burgh gets down. We do not like New Yorker's anyway. Pittsburgh is way harder that New York and if you do not like come get some."
