Wizards ‘Fan’ Eddie One-Ups G-Man at Halftime, Does Flip Dunk off Trampoline While on Phone

While the Wizards may be a significantly better team at home than on the road — they've won games there — the team still needs to pull out all of the stops to keep fans in the seats.

That, of course, is where Wizards mascot "G-Man" comes in. As is customary for a halftime show, the mascot successfully executes a "trampoline dunk" — except there's a twist. Fans get to try to do it too.

Three Wizards fans in John Wall jerseys took cracks at the trampoline, only to deliver complete face-plants. Then came a fourth "fan," Eddie took his turn.

Eddie, though, was distracted, talking on his cell phone to his supposed date in the stands. Even so, Eddie took off for the dunk with his phone in one hand and the ball in the other, and proceeded to do a front-flip dunk, and then take his shirt off in the midst of a tumbling pass in celebration.

Needless to say, he got a standing ovation and has become a YouTube sensation — even if he surely wasn't just some guy from the stands.

See him in action below.

"It's been a great, well, childhood, if you can say, that we had together. So it's been a nice story, you know, about both of us. And to be able to meet him in a Grand Slam final, it makes it even more special."

Kevin Garnett could never do anything wrong.

"If you get hit down there, your gonna be down for awhile. He went down for 1 second then popped right back up, bad acting job. Frye should've gotten ejected not KG."
