Bruins Continue Domination of Third Period With More Impressive Late Work Against Hurricanes

Say what you want about the Bruins' efforts to put together a full hockey game, but you can't deny that they always seem to come up big when it matters most in the third period.

The B's continued their dominance of the game's final frame on Tuesday night down in Carolina where they used two goals in the third to get by the 'Canes 3-2.

The B's built their lead to 3-1 and then put the game in the trusty hands of goalie Tim Thomas who once again came up big down the stretch to preserve the win for the B's.
