The longest NCAA conference losing streak in the country is finally over for Caltech.
The Beavers beat Occidental 46-45 Tuesday, notching their first win since 1985 and ending a losing streak that was older than the players themselves.
Caltech exorcised their demons on the last day of the season, with Ryan Elmquist sealing the win on the free-throw line.
