Celtics Face Challenge As They Take On Tyreke Evans, Full-Strength Kings in Sacramento

Three weeks ago back in Boston, the Celtics easily took down a Sacramento team that was at less than full strength. Tyreke Evans, the reigning NBA Rookie of the Year, was out with a foot injury, and the Kings started Luther Head in his place. The C's won easily, 119-95.

This time, though, Evans is back, and he's going to be a difference-maker.

Despite battling both an ankle sprain and a mean case of plantar fasciitis this season, the Kings' explosive combo guard has battled through it and started 40 of the Kings' 45 games this season. He was out when the Kings took on the C's last month, but he'll be there Tuesday night at ARCO Arena to lead the Kings on both ends of the floor.

Evans has only faced the Celtics once in his career — he also missed one meeting last year, with a concussion. He played on Feb. 16, 2010 at the TD Garden and dropped 17 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for a near-triple-double in a 95-92 Kings loss.

Here's the lineup card for C's-Kings:

Celtics
Rajon Rondo, PG
Ray Allen, SG
Paul Pierce, SF
Kevin Garnett, PF
Shaquille O'Neal, C

Kings
Beno Udrih, PG
Tyreke Evans, SG
Omri Casspi, SF
DeMarcus Cousins, PF
Samuel Dalembert, C
