David Ortiz’s Son D’Angelo Drawing Crowds at Spring Training As Lil Papi’s a Switch-Hitting Adrian Gonzalez Fan (Video)

For nearly a decade now, Red Sox fans in Fort Myers, Fla., have been yelling for Big Papi to sign autographs. This year, however, there's another Papi signing baseballs and bats; it's David Ortiz's son, D'Angelo, who  — as the stitching on his hat shows — goes by the nickname Lil Papi.

The six-year-old slugger is a switch-hitting, multiposition-playing version of his father, minus about 180 pounds. D'Angelo is drawing crowds with his smooth stroke from both sides of the plate in the Red Sox' batting cages and is even answering the calls of autograph seekers.
