Celtics forward Kevin Garnett has always been known as a player who plays with a ton of intensity. To some, though, that intensity borders on recklessness.

Suns coach Alvin Gentry recently went after Garnett with a couple of verbal daggers, saying that he’s lost a little respect for the future Hall of Famer. Lakers coach Phil Jackson did the same.

Garnett’s coach, Doc Rivers, has heard enough.

“It’s amazing,” Rivers said, according to WEEI.com “That’s fine. I don’t think Kevin cares, one way or another. We sure don’t. When I hear a coach saying anything, ask them if they would trade for them. I have a feeling they’d say, ‘Yeah, we’ll take him right now.'”
